In this long-term contract position, you will collaborate with leadership development teams and business units to create impactful learning experiences tailored to adult learners. Your expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, engaging, and measurable training programs.
Job Responsibility:
Design and develop leadership and curricula focused on attention to detail for in-person delivery and ongoing learning materials, ensuring consistency and minimal variations
Apply adult learning theories, cognitive load principles, and learner-centered design to craft engaging and effective learning experiences
Organize complex content into clear, digestible modules and create structured storyboards, scripts, and design documentation
Develop multimedia learning materials aligned with defined objectives and outcomes, utilizing instructional design tools and technologies
Create assessments and knowledge checks that validate learning effectiveness and align with program goals
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather input, manage review processes, and ensure content accuracy
Streamline content development using instructional design tools and AI-powered solutions while maintaining quality standards
Manage multiple projects concurrently, including timelines, stakeholder expectations, and iterative workflows
Establish and maintain design standards and templates to ensure consistency, accessibility, and usability across learning programs
Analyze learning analytics and feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of training modules
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Adult Education, or a related field
Master’s degree is preferred
Proven experience in designing and developing in-person and continuous learning programs for adult learners
Strong knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models
Proficiency in creating structured storyboards, scripts, and design documentation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams
Expertise in tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms, including multimedia editing
Ability to design assessments and evaluation strategies that measure learning outcomes effectively
Solid understanding of visual design principles, including accessibility, layout, and intuitive navigation
