We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and developing high-quality learning materials tailored to meet organizational standards and accessibility requirements. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing eLearning courses, managing digital assets, and supporting the transition to new systems within the telecom services industry.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct a thorough inventory of existing source materials, including authoring files, video projects, and assessment templates
Evaluate the current state of content to determine compatibility and readiness for migration to updated systems
Redesign or remediate eLearning courses, videos, and assessments using tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise
Ensure all learning materials align with organizational technical and design standards, including accessibility compliance
Implement consistent visual and instructional standards across all learning assets
Organize and prepare finalized content for seamless integration into new systems
Perform quality assurance checks, testing, and validation of migrated content, addressing any issues identified during review
Develop and maintain a standardized system for managing source files and document file organization procedures
Provide instructional design support for smaller projects as needed, based on company priorities
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure learning materials meet project deadlines and organizational goals
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience demonstrating attention to detail in eLearning development and instructional design
Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design processes, and accessibility standards
Proven ability to organize and manage large volumes of digital assets efficiently
Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic project environment
Nice to have:
Familiarity with xAPI, SCORM compliance, and learning management systems
