Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a skilled and creative part-time Instructional Designer for their client in Troy. The role involves developing engaging and effective learning materials and courses, designing instructional resources, and collaborating with subject matter experts to meet training program goals.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and analyze training needs and requirements
Design and develop instructional materials, including online courses, training modules, and learning guides
Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create learner-centered content
Utilize e-learning authoring tools and multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience
Conduct reviews and revisions of existing training materials to ensure accuracy and relevancy
Work with project managers to meet deadlines and project milestones
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and e-learning

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work
Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and e-learning authoring tools, like Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, 360, Rise, or Camtasia
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theories
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field is preferred
