Job Description

We have an urgent project for our client involving the extraction of short courses from existing certificates and making minor edits/changes as guided by the client. The final deliverables will be new Learning Paths. Training will be provided during onboarding.

Job Responsibility

  • Structural Reorganization: Place existing lessons into module containers in the short course shell
  • Redistribute learning objectives into the new lesson structure
  • Short Courses & Item Sharing: Create a separate course shell for each short course
  • Use item-sharing to place existing content rather than duplicating/recreating it
  • Ensure each short course has: Course description page
  • Course structure (lesson descriptions + placement of existing learning objectives)
  • Correct placement of content items (videos, readings, quizzes, etc.)
  • Update shared content in one place so changes reflect across all relevant courses
  • Content Changes Required: Add: Write lesson descriptions for module containers
  • Revise: Edit out explicit references to “the course,” “the program,” or sequences
  • Remove: Intro/conclusion elements from full courses, and discussion prompts (or replace with Coach Dialogue)
  • Video Editing: Edit explicit mentions of full courses or certificates
  • Keep vague references like “You previously learned…” unless instructed otherwise
