Job Description

As an Instore Team Member, you will be the friendly face welcoming customers, preparing delicious pizzas, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This role requires enthusiasm, a team-oriented mindset, and a keen eye for quality and detail. Whether you’re taking orders, assisting with food preparation, or maintaining a clean and safe environment, your contribution will be essential to creating memorable customer experiences.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately, either in person or via phone
  • Prepare and assemble pizzas and other menu items following company recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food hygiene and safety standards are strictly adhered to at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the instore environment, including kitchen, counters, and dining areas
  • Operate point of sale (POS) systems efficiently and handle card payments responsibly
  • Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and inventory management to minimise waste
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and ensure excellent customer service
  • Support training and development initiatives to continuously improve skills and service quality
  • Respond promptly and positively to customer feedback and resolve any issues professionally

Requirements

  • Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or retail environments is preferred but not essential
  • A friendly, positive attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team spirit and willingness to support colleagues
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Basic numeracy and IT skills, especially using POS systems
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
