Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist to participate in lifecycle support tasks for institutional trade initiatives, assist in client account onboarding, provide subject matter expertise on projects, and manage teams covering various operational functions including trade processing, reconciliation, and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in lifecycle support tasks for institutional trade initiatives
Assist leadership in resolving complex issues
Assist in client account onboarding, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, project support, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation
Resolve confirmation and ISDA related issues
Provide subject matter expertise on projects and initiatives
Review and analyze functional operational tasks
Support lifecycle of Institutional trades
Manage groups covering T0 Blotter checks, Investigation & resolution of exceptions for OTC & Listed Derivative asset class
Perform key trade life cycle functions such as trade affirmations, allocations & validation
Produce key metrics & varied reporting
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Collaborate with business partners and departments
Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations
Interpret and develop policies and procedures
Manage and develop team of individual contributors and managers
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals
Lead team to achieve objectives and strategy
Manage allocation of people and financial resources
Mentor and guide talent development

Requirements:

2+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education
University degree/Post graduation in Business/Accounts/Economics/Stats
8+ years of experience in institutional Investment Banking Operations
Working knowledge of Middle office Operations, Product control, trade & sales support, trader/sales assistant
Good understanding of Middle office controls, daily risk & PnL
Willing to work in EMEA & US Shift
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with time constraints
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with Investment industry and practices in Financial Services industry
Operational delivery experience
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Strong articulation and out of box thinking
Good problem solving skills
