To carry out the installation of services within the retail, commercial and industrial sector. The role requires the individual to comply with project specific site safety rules, whilst managing their own safety needs, to meet the Integral Health and Safety Policy. The individual will be required to carry out the works to the Customer and Design brief and deliver the project installation to program.
Job Responsibility:
Installation of copper pipework and materials using welding equipment
Installation of water cooled pipework using map press tooling
Keep a brief site diary on a project by project basis
Maintain excellent service levels at all times
Take on projects as and when required and see them through to successful completion
To positively promote Integral
Oversee the installation standards of pipework installation from within the projects department
To identify means of generating extra revenue through new initiatives
To treat other colleagues, managers, customers and other stakeholders equally and with courtesy and respect at all times
Lead the installation and coo-ordinate site based work for both Integral Installation Engineers and sub-contractors
Responsibility of managing own training and renewal of training
Where possible - to assist others with tasks that may be outside of the scope of your role
To assist with coaching other colleagues/managers
Ensure that all relevant company and legislative policies and best practices are adhered to and maintained at all times
Inform the relevant Manager of non-conformances and ensure that corrective action is taken
Carry out site specific Risk Assessments
Near miss reporting and accident logging
Ensuring PPE is fit for purpose and worn at all times
Keep all PAT testing of electrical equipment up to date
Carry out Van weighing a minimum of twice a year
Calibration of gauges and equipment
Keep all Integral standard Risk Assessments and Task Procedures in a file in the van
Keep copies of all pressure test regulation and customer specific pressure test details
Responsible for completing the pressure test certificate
Ensure compliance with all procedures throughout within your remit
To ensure Refrigeration industry codes and standards are upheld
To comply with Integrals environmental policies
Adhere to Group H&S procedures
Requirements:
Installation Engineer experience spanning multiple years
Ability to be customer focused
Ability to demonstrate a high level of financial awareness
Ability to lead a team
Have successfully completed a minimum of NVQ 2 in refrigeration
Ability to adhere to company vision and values
Have excellent team working skills and ability to use own initiative
Be able to work to stringent deadlines
