Drive new business and expansion opportunities for Instaclustr’s fully managed database and solutions
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to closing, with a focus on open-source database adoption and data infrastructure modernization
Build Territory and Account Plans to Hunt and drive high touch outreach to top tier accounts and scale with broader territory
Educate customers on the benefits of open-source technologies, managed services, and migration strategies to drive pipeline growth
Work closely with NetApp’s account teams to co-sell Instaclustr solutions into NetApp’s existing customer base
Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with NetApp channel partners, VARs, and cloud providers to accelerate customer adoption
Enable partners on Instaclustr’s value proposition and help them position open-source database and streaming solutions in their customer engagements
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within NetApp, partners, and customers to expand market reach
Align with NetApp’s field sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated sales motions
Provide feedback to NetApp’s leadership and Instaclustr’s product teams on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning
Participate in joint sales planning, pipeline reviews, and customer strategy discussions with NetApp’s regional teams
Requirements
7+ years of field sales, enterprise sales, or solutions selling experience in cloud, data infrastructure, or open-source technologies
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relationships
Experience working with technology partners, VARs, and channel ecosystems to drive co-selling motions
Strong understanding of open-source databases (PostgreSQL, Apache Cassandra®, Apache Kafka®, and OpenSearch® and other relevant database technologies) and the challenges enterprises face with data-layer modernization
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
Self-motivated, highly collaborative, and comfortable working across a global matrixed organization
