As an Inspector of Works (Electrical) at Aurecon, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works on-site are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. You will support the Resident Engineer and project team in delivering high-quality outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Monitoring daily electrical construction activities and ensuring compliance with technical drawings and specifications
Conducting site inspections and quality checks on electrical installations
Reviewing electrical drawings and method statements
reporting discrepancies
Attending inspections and testing activities and documenting results
Issuing site memos for non-compliant works
Supporting monthly progress claim verification and variation orders
Maintaining accurate records of inspections, site activities, and progress
Attending site meetings and coordinating with contractors and consultants
Requirements:
A diploma in Electrical Engineering and registration as an Inspector of Works with BEM
At least 5 years of experience in electrical supervision, particularly in industrial or institutional developments
Good knowledge of electrical systems, data centre infrastructure, and local construction practices
