The Inspection Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination, supervision, and execution oversight of Inspection services within their project(s). The Supervisor ensures that all assigned purchase orders are executed in line with contractual requirements in line with their services along with monitoring and controllers their teams follow and perform according to established and approved processes and ways of working. The Supervisor provides clear and accurate visibility on supplier and sub-supplier progress, proactively identifies risks, and ensures that issues impacting schedule, quality, or compliance are anticipated and mitigated in close coordination with the Package Manager and Project teams. A deep understanding of supplier facilities, key personnel, manufacturing and inspection processes, capabilities and supply chain organization is essential. The Supervisor plays a critical role in safeguarding timely, compliant, and fully traceable deliveries. The position requires hands-on leadership, including the coordination of internal and third-party resources, ownership of the Inspection plans, acting as Package Manager for the field sub-contracted services, participation in progress meetings, and consolidation of reporting and analytics for the respected services. Supervisors may be physically based in regions outside of the main project execution center, but they must maintain a global approach and mentality in order to manage teams spread across global centers and demographics.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the single focal point for Project Management, Client, Line management, third party agencies for all expediting or inspection related matters, including manpower, escalations and recovery actions
Accountable for the planning, coordination, and execution governance of all project inspection or expediting services in line with Project Inspection Plans, GEMS processes, and contractual requirements
Manage and oversee sub-contracted inspection or expediting services, including commercial, technical, and performance aspects of sub-contracted purchase orders
Ensure overall team data discipline, completeness, and timeliness, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to meet project milestones
Lead, train, coach, and develop your assigned project team, ensuring consistent application of company’s ways of working and culture
Drive continuous improvement through performance monitoring, audits, lessons learned, and feedback loops liaising closely with discipline managers and supply chain excellence
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or project management experience in energy projects, Oil and Gas sector
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field, along with relevant certifications in inspection or quality assurance
Advanced experience in contract management and manufacturing processes
Strong Microsoft office suite skills
Fluent in English as well as the language where your role is based (both written and verbally)
Nice to have:
Offshore experience would be a plus
Qualifications or valid certification in inspection techniques such as: NDT, NACE, COMPEX, are a plus
