This position is responsible for leading all processes associated with the inspection of Valves and Pumps to meet customer and regulatory requirements for products and services delivered by the plant in a safe and efficient manner. The supervisor will drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and execution to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Will lead a team of 5 employees.
Job Responsibility:
Provide leadership, supervision, and accountability in your area of responsibility
Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
Ensure a safe work environment, monitor compliance to legislative and plant regulations and ensure correction of any non-conformances
Ensure all products undergo and successfully pass the required inspection criteria as specified by the customer, API, PED, ASME, and other applicable standards
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

Continue to grow the inspection workforce to be well-informed and skilled in various inspection methods and techniques
Identify, participate in, and ensure completion of initiatives to improve safety, eliminate waste, and support cost reduction requirements
Work with appropriate functions to identify, correct, and improve product quality issues by being an active participant in the nonconformance process, ensuring compliance to all Quality, Regulatory and customer requirements
Requirements:
3 years supervisory/lead experience with highly engineered products (valve manufacturing preferred)
5 years working knowledge of manufacturing experience
3-5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
Experienced with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Email & Calendar system
Knowledge of Inspection techniques and processes such as CMM, Articulated Arms, XRF Analyzers, Hardness Testers, Micrometers, Calipers and various other measuring and test equipment
Knowledge of Nondestructive Examination techniques such as Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Examinations in accordance with ASME Section V

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Excellent interpersonal, time management, decision-making and conflict management skills
Ability to successfully communicate and develop positive relationships with all levels of the organization
Knowledge of SAP
Spreadsheet software (Excel) and Word Processing software
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
Strong Change Management skills – managing change through stakeholders, bringing people along, communication and education
Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business requirements
