Insolvency & Restructuring Senior / Managing / Principal Associate | Birmingham | Clear Progression Path to Partnership. We are working with a leading national law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Insolvency & Restructuring lawyer into its Birmingham office. The team is one of the largest nationally, with around 20 team members, and advises a broad client base on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters. This is an excellent opportunity to take on an established caseload while also building your own practice within a highly supportive environment, with a clear route to partnership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Acting on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters for clients across the UK
  • Advising insolvency practitioners, corporates, lenders, investors and other stakeholders
  • Taking ownership of your own matters while also contributing to larger, high-profile projects
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within the Midlands insolvency and restructuring market
  • Attending networking and business development events to expand both your profile and the firm’s reach

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with strong insolvency and restructuring experience
  • Experience in either a mixed practice or with a particular specialism in contentious or non-contentious work
  • Well connected in the Midlands insolvency market, with confidence in networking and client development
  • Commercially astute, proactive and collaborative, with strong technical skills
  • Ambitious and motivated, with the desire to progress towards partnership
