Join a dynamic team in the aggregate industry where your work directly supports infrastructure and construction across the region. Reporting to the regional Aggregates Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in connecting customers with the materials they need—from initial inquiry to final delivery. As a vital link between customers, dispatch, and operations, you’ll provide quotes, manage orders, and stay ahead of upcoming projects by monitoring industry activity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on organization, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain accurate customer records and invoicing details
Respond to orders and inquiries via phone and online dispatch systems
Provide timely, accurate pricing and product information
Enter and manage customer orders, including pricing and freight details
Coordinate deliveries with a network of local haulers and track activity
Resolve customer concerns efficiently or escalate when needed
Act as a trusted resource for product knowledge and service support
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to support decision-making
Generate and manage customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues
Maintain and update quoting software with current pricing and data
Collaborate with Scale House, Accounting, and Management teams to streamline operations
Monitor accounts receivable and flag overdue accounts
Research upcoming construction projects and tender opportunities
Provide scale house coverage as needed
Produce key reports (transaction, sales data, cash sales) for internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Minimum 2-year college diploma
At least 1 year of experience in sales, customer service, or dispatch (preferred)
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
Professional communication skills—comfortable delivering both positive and difficult messages
Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Adaptable and comfortable working with a variety of personalities and situations
A proactive mindset, anticipating needs and taking initiative
