Based in our Brantford facility, this role is perfect for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment to oversee one large account. As a key member of our sales team, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, managing the full order lifecycle from initial inquiry to delivery. This is a challenging, high-energy position that requires a blend of technical knowledge, suggestive selling, and exceptional problem-solving skills to ensure our clients receive the best value and service in the industry.
Job Responsibility:
Focusing on one major account to grow and manage
Serve as the first point of contact by answering incoming calls, emails, and mail in a timely and professional manner
Accurately process product orders and provide customers with essential information regarding pricing, technical specifications, and delivery schedules
Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or technical solutions that complement customer orders and enhance their overall experience
Research and resolve customer complaints, warranty claims, and return requests, ensuring all documentation is completed and solutions are implemented within 24 hours
Conduct weekly scheduled calls to existing accounts to secure orders for upcoming deliveries and inform them of current promotions or featured products
Participate in weekly branch sales meetings and share market insights with the Customer Service and Management teams to drive business growth
Maintain high standards of professionalism with colleagues and suppliers while adhering to all corporate safety requirements and PPE guidelines
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of proven success in a sales and customer service environment
Strong computer skills and the ability to work comfortably within a call-center-style setting
Experience within industrial parts distribution or the trailer parts sector is considered a significant asset
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and exercise sound judgment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate customer needs while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
