Owl Cyber Defense, a trusted leader in cybersecurity, is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our Commercial sales teams. In this role, you’ll be a key player in driving business growth—managing sales leads, tracking and managing renewals, generating quotes, and ensuring smooth transactions for our commercial customers worldwide. You'll collaborate with distribution partners, sales reps, and legal teams to facilitate deals, streamline compliance, and coordinate seamless order processing. Job Responsibility:
Proactive pursuit, tracking and management of renewal business for assigned territory in coordination with sales reps
Timely follow up on inbound commercial sales leads, making warm introductions to distribution partners as needed
Generate quotes in support of deals for both distribution partners and end-users
Cultivate customer and partner relationships and develop new opportunities by following through on trade show leads and general prospecting efforts
Generate and distribute reports to distribution partners and Owl management
Work with sales and Owl legal team to gather and record required compliance documentation regarding orders
Acknowledge and process purchase orders from customers and distributors
Coordinate with Owl support team and customers to plan delivery activities
Requirements:
College Degree Preferred
1-3 years of work experience in customer service, sales support, sales development or account manager role(s)
Experience working with MS Teams using cloud-based file management, Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint and/or related online collaboration tools and systems
Experience professionally communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to prioritize, categorize, and action through multiple channels of communication simultaneously
The ability to track the progress of multiple tasks, documenting and resolving roadblocks as needed
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, Costpoint, SharePoint, or similar CRM systems preferred
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and the flexibility to pivot when needed
Proficient with Excel, Power Point, Office 365
Must be able to travel as needed
US Citizenship is required due to Owl’s Government contracts
Nice to have:
Preference for candidates within proximity and able to commute to Owl’s Danbury, CT office one day per week
