We’re looking for an experienced Inside Sales Team Leader to lead our national inbound sales team from our Brisbane office. Reporting directly to the National Manager, Digital & Inside Sales you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of Inside Sales Representatives, driving sales performance, coaching your people, and making sure every customer enquiry is handled professionally and converted where possible.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, coach and develop a team of National Inside Sales Representatives
Set and monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and KPIs
Review team pipeline, call activity and conversion metrics—identify gaps and take action
Handle escalated customer enquiries and support reps with complex quotes or objections
Run regular one-on-ones, team meetings and performance conversations
Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure the team follows agreed sales processes
Collaborate with field sales, operations and marketing to align on leads, campaigns and service delivery
Recruit, onboard and train new team members as the team grows
Report on team performance to senior leadership with clear, data-driven insights
Requirements:
Proven experience leading or supervising an inside sales, telesales or contact centre team
Strong coaching ability—you know how to lift performance without micromanaging
Confident communicator who can manage up, down and across the business
Comfortable with CRM systems, reporting dashboards and sales metrics
Organised and process-driven, with the ability to juggle competing priorities
Resilient and solutions-focused—you stay calm under pressure and lead by example
Nice to have:
Experience in waste, environmental services or B2B industries is a plus but not essential
