Job Description:

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team of professionals in our branch location for a Monday - Friday, day shift role, selling and supporting our customers with a large variety of cabinet-making and storage solution products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inside sales development for a portion of the local sales region
  • Represent Richelieu products, primarily serving the cabinet-making industry
  • Assist customers by phone, email, and in person
  • Research and place orders for building materials products
  • Learn and stay abreast of products, changes, and trends within woodworking, kitchen & bath design, and cabinet making
  • Seek out new business opportunities with customers via phone, placing orders and providing sales quotes
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives with customer orders and quotes
  • Research pricing and availability for various items
  • Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues
  • Maintain and uphold Richelieu's Five Core Values
  • Strive to achieve and surpass company sales objectives
  • May require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds

Requirements:

  • Motivated, customer-focused individual
  • Adaptive, responsive to customer and team inquiries
  • Excellent communicator by phone, email, and in person
  • Prior inside sales or customer service experience helpful
  • Inside telesales experience preferred in the industrial market
  • Knowledge of woodworking, cabinetry, kitchen/bath design, architectural hardware, or related building materials helpful
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to prioritize tasks
  • Organized
  • Highly comfortable with technology (uses AS400 database software daily)
  • Strong sense of drive and creativity
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and informatively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • AS400 experience helpful, but not required

  • Prior inside sales or customer service experience
