We are seeking a results-driven Inside Service Sales Representative to manage customer relationships and drive service revenue. This role focuses on prospecting, quoting, and securing service agreements while ensuring a seamless customer experience. There will be an initial comprehensive training period to ensure full operational readiness and then will transition into an 11-month placement with potential to be extended if needed. The successful employee will be working fully in office at the client's Cambridge head office. The Inside Service Sales Representative will be customer-oriented, a team player with a positive attitude interacting with customers, team members, and industry peers. A strong attention to detail and documentation is critical. It is essential for this role to be inquisitive and continuously strive to find better ways of providing quality service to our customers.
Job Responsibility:
Source new prospects and maintain existing accounts to meet or exceed sales goals
Proactively follow up on leads from field activity and service reports and manage status systems
Maintain and renew Preventative Maintenance Agreements
identify upsell opportunities for parts and service upgrades
Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, conducting site visits/walkthroughs and attending trade shows as needed
Participate in WIP meetings and provide accurate sales forecasting
Identify cost-effective suppliers and manage spare parts pricing and availability
Provide coverage for the sales team and assist with technical documentation and ERP (SAP) data entry
Requirements:
Understanding of repair techniques for mechanical/electrical systems (vacuum/compressors or medical gas systems preferred)
2+ years in mechanical/electrical service support or a similar industrial setting
Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and ERP systems (SAP experience is a major asset)
Post-secondary in a technical or business field is an asset
Superior verbal and written skills
bilingual (English/French) is a significant asset
Ability to read blueprints and schematics to identify solutions for complex customer needs
Extreme attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
