Job Responsibility:
Receive incoming sales calls
review customer specifications and inventory to provide timely, accurate, and detailed quotations
Review purchase orders, clarify technical revisions, and process orders through the ERP system while communicating requirements to operations
Source product pricing and availability from suppliers
generate purchase orders for "buy-ins" to ensure customer delivery dates are met at the best cost
Act as the face of the branch for walk-in customers, providing expert product advice and processing orders on-site
Maintain accurate records of pricing feedback, market trends, and quality assurance reports (QARs)
Follow up on quotes, assist in the resolution of customer concerns, and support the collection of receivables through proper documentation
Requirements:
Prior experience in the oil and gas industry (labor, trades, or administration) is highly valued
Knowledge of carbon steel products is a significant asset
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning complex ERP systems
Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures for quoting and sizing
A high-energy individual who can work independently but thrives in a collaborative team setting
Physically able to lift up to 25lbs and manage the manual dexterity required for high-volume computer and phone work
