Robert Half is assisting a valued client in their search of an Inside Sales Rep / Account Manager. This position combines relationship management, consultative outreach, and market insight to strengthen existing partnerships while identifying new opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in account development and client-facing service, along with the ability to align member needs with organizational offerings.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries by phone, email, and chat
Resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure member satisfaction
Promote additional engagement opportunities when appropriate
Record member interactions and transactions accurately in CRM systems
Work with internal teams to address member needs and follow up on unresolved issues
Manage the quote desk experience as the main point of contact
Receive and process quote requests through phone, email, and chat
Coordinate with the strategic sourcing team to ensure timely responses
Share quote updates with the sales team as needed
Track outstanding quotes and follow up within established turnaround times
Provide timely status updates and reporting on quotes
Requirements:
2 years in a direct customer service role
Willingly engages in conversations with others and can sell the organizations value proposition
Experience creating reports from data and navigating the internet for business information
Demonstrated experience servicing customers, supporting requests and following through
Strong math skills and the ability to analyze information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Excel and PowerPoint required
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree desired, supply chain, marketing, or management preferred
