Job Description

Robert Half is assisting a valued client in their search of an Inside Sales Rep / Account Manager. This position combines relationship management, consultative outreach, and market insight to strengthen existing partnerships while identifying new opportunities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in account development and client-facing service, along with the ability to align member needs with organizational offerings.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve as the primary contact for member inquiries by phone, email, and chat
  • Resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure member satisfaction
  • Promote additional engagement opportunities when appropriate
  • Record member interactions and transactions accurately in CRM systems
  • Work with internal teams to address member needs and follow up on unresolved issues
  • Manage the quote desk experience as the main point of contact
  • Receive and process quote requests through phone, email, and chat
  • Coordinate with the strategic sourcing team to ensure timely responses
  • Share quote updates with the sales team as needed
  • Track outstanding quotes and follow up within established turnaround times
  • Provide timely status updates and reporting on quotes

Requirements

  • 2 years in a direct customer service role
  • Willingly engages in conversations with others and can sell the organizations value proposition
  • Experience creating reports from data and navigating the internet for business information
  • Demonstrated experience servicing customers, supporting requests and following through
  • Strong math skills and the ability to analyze information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint required

Nice to have

Bachelor’s degree desired, supply chain, marketing, or management preferred
