Owl Cyber Defense is seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Operations Manager to lead and strengthen our Inside Sales team. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role focuses on driving performance, consistency, and efficiency across the Inside Sales function. The ideal candidate will blend operational excellence with people leadership—ensuring the team has the structure, tools, and insights needed to engage customers effectively and support revenue growth. This position plays a key role in shaping how Owl’s Inside Sales team builds relationships, supports customer engagement and renewals, and continuously refine its sales processes.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Planning (Clarity & Innovation): work with sales leaders to develop and execute innovative plans for the sales organization
defining sales territories, setting quotas, and managing team size
bring clarity to the team's goals
Operational Execution (Accountability & One Team): responsible for the day-to-day operations, including managing forecasts and the sales pipeline
holding both yourself and the team accountable for results
Data and Insights (Support & Customer): using data to understand what's working and what's not
provide the CRO and sales leaders with data-driven insights
provide support to the sales team, empowering them to succeed and enhance customer experience
Cross-Functional Collaboration (Clarity & One Team): work with other departments to optimize processes and technology for the sales team
clear communication to create alignment
Team Leadership (Clarity, Accountability, Support): build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales operations team
foster a culture of collaboration and excellence
lead by example, providing clarity on expectations, promoting accountability for results, and offering unwavering support to their team
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree in business or relevant subject
Experience selling software or software-enabled cybersecurity solutions to Federal Government customers
Inside Sales management experience preferred
Strong knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and reporting tools
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to streamline sales processes and support scalable growth
Proven track record of responsibility and dependability
Highly analytical with a strong understanding of sales KPIs and data-driven decision-making
Enthusiastic and “self-starter” approach
Experience in a B2B sales environment (preferred)
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies or process redesign (preferred)
Must be able to travel as needed
US Citizenship is required due to Owl’s Government contracts (an active security clearance is preferred)
