Job Description

As the Inside Sales Manager for the APAC region, you will be responsible for achieving and exceeding business objectives whilst managing the regional team. Deliverables for business objectives would include developing and deploying execution strategies; recruiting, training, managing and developing Inside Sales team; collaborating with cross functional leaders and teams in the successful execution of global projects; and independently leading designated Inside Sales programs from conception to completion.

Job Responsibility

  • Target Achievement: Responsible for driving new opportunity creation and revenue growth within service and maintenance accounts to exceed regional Inside Sales objectives
  • Leadership & Direction: Lead and motivate the regional Inside Sales team through implementing effective inside sales strategies, ensuring team accountability and optimizing commercial processes with the global commercial team
  • Funnel Management: Strategically build and expand the sales pipeline whilst managing top and bottom funnel opportunities with the appropriate teams
  • Forecast & Reporting: Prepare, implement, and analyze weekly sales forecasts with systematic action plans to accelerate performance or close gaps to targets
  • Business Insight & Improvement: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and escalate issues as needed. Provide regular reports on sales status, market dynamics and competitor activity to senior management
  • Market Execution: Exceed revenue targets by implementing the global sales strategy in the region to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts. Manage the full customer sales process for assigned territories, product lines, and/or accounts through active selling
  • Process Excellence: Design and implement new, scalable processes to support future growth and provide critical business insights and strategies based on customer activity analysis
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as a critical link between cross functional teams to maximize overall commercial effectiveness and ensure high-level collaboration
  • CRM & Systems: Act as regional commercial operations lead, liaising with global stakeholders to optimize CRM (SFDC) and the Partner Portal. Drive usage and maintenance of SFDC whilst ensuring funnel compliance
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify and report on new and existing regional business opportunities in key target markets and cultivate relationships with key customers and allocating resources appropriately
  • Team Motivation: Direct, support and motivate the Regional Inside Sales team to consistently meet or exceed regional sales goals
  • Coaching & Culture: Foster a high-performance culture characterized by teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement. Provide regular, real-time, and candid coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance
  • Training: Provide regular training to the regional team on sales methodologies, technical products and applications

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a commercial sales role
  • Demonstrable leadership and people management experience, with a proven track record of leading teams that meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Confidence in making decisions and recommendations using a data-driven mindset, and leveraging change management skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions, departments and regions
  • Results-oriented, with a key focus on delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Ability to recognize and manage potential problem areas, identify root causes and resolve them with sound judgment and integrity
  • Excellent presentation, documentation, influencing, and interpersonal skills across technical and non-technical topics
  • Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
