We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Engineer to join our Service Division in Panama. About the Role: As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of our Service business by managing customer inquiries, preparing quotations, identifying business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Working closely with External Sales teams, you will help customers maximize the performance and reliability of their Alfa Laval equipment through service solutions, spare parts, maintenance programs, and upgrades. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy customer interaction, commercial activities, and data-driven decision making, while developing their career within a global industrial technology company.
Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Manage customer inquiries and prepare technical and commercial quotations
Follow up on opportunities and support the successful closing of orders
Work closely with External Sales teams to grow the Service business
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in CRM systems
Analyze sales data and customer activity to identify growth opportunities
Propose service, maintenance, upgrade, and optimization solutions for customers
Support customers with technical information regarding Alfa Laval equipment and services
Participate in customer meetings, seminars, and technical presentations when required
Identify hidden opportunities through customer interactions and business analysis
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, inside sales, commercial support, technical sales, customer service, or related commercial roles
Experience working with proposals, customer support, or technical-commercial activities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
