Job Responsibility
Work with the External & Inside Sales teams to meet and where possible exceed the customer's requirements/expectations
Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services, specifically Evaporation Systems & Technologies
Analyze and understand market insights and the customers' buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business unit WIFH (Water, Industrial Flow & Heat) and Food & Pharma division strategy and targets
Be active in the market and focus on inside customer interactions, but including some visits, focusing on customer needs understanding and delivery the value of our products and services
Develop complex and value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up
Understand customer needs and offer solutions with customer values
Actively follow up the quote to understand if the proposed value is clear and if it matches the customer needs
Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process with advanced technical support (including sizing & selection)
Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
Work proactive and structured way to serve customers
Be active member of WIFH Business Unit and Food & Pharma Division with a team spirit mindset
Requirements
Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) graduate / Diploma holder as Internal Sales Engineer having robust experience of handling quotations and customer communication
Minimum 5~10 Years of experience in any similar Food, Pharma and Water Industries
Knowledge of Commercial /incoterms
Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to express ideas clearly both in written and verbal formats
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skillset
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Email systems, specifically strong excel skills
Teamwork and team player
