Job Description:

The Inside Sales Development Associate is tasked with lead generation and pipeline development for market-based sales teams. Key responsibilities include driving profitability through strategic planning, ensuring quality foundations for client engagement, and supporting contractual negotiations. The role requires collaboration, effective use of CRM tools, and participation in industry events to source leads.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generates leads and contributes to pipeline development aligned with respective budget
  • prioritizes opportunities based upon profitability, customer timelines, and market segmentation
  • tracks lead opportunities resulting from marketing campaigns and reviews campaign effectiveness
  • aligns overall sales strategy with market team performance to budget
  • leverages the Omnicare Value Proposition and develops initial relationships with prospects
  • ensures quality pipeline foundation by providing appropriate sales materials and strategy for client interface
  • assists Market-Based Sales Team with proposal and presentation preparations
  • supports efficient contractual negotiations by leveraging salesforce contract initiation form (CIF) process
  • utilizes the customer relationship management system and marketing tools
  • participates in pipeline reviews and discussions
  • assesses risks and opportunities and creates appropriate action plans
  • maintains knowledge of competitive threats and shares information
  • attends educational workshops and professional societies
  • maintains data integrity in the customer relationship management system
  • participates in trade shows and conventions and sources leads.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience in customer service
  • working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • must reside within a commutable distance of Cincinnati, OH
  • ability to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in the Cincinnati, OH office per week)
  • ability to travel within the United States up to 10% of time
  • high school diploma or GED.
