Under direction of the National Business Development Manager, Japan, the inside sales associate role is responsible for generating, growing and maximizing World Courier’s business opportunities and sales to drive the overall sales revenue and profitability of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Identify potential clients to be targeted for sales and marketing activities
Manage own workload, schedules and client calls ensuring the achievement of established key performance indicators
Manage and maintain a budget within the designated Business Development portfolio area
Develop a cross-selling program for each client to cover all services offered by World Courier
Build and maintain a strong pipeline that reflects your targets
Implement and maintain a client database
Develop ongoing communications with each client and undertake regular phone call meetings
In instances of service failures, represent World Courier to clients
Keep updated with trends, changes and intelligence within designated portfolios
Conducting surveys to benefit the directions of World Courier
Provide weekly Business Development reports
Establish a tailored system of measurement for portfolio
Provide information to all World Courier business units
Contribute to team and organizational wide discussions
Support other Business Development with case study sharing, joint calls, experiences
Comply with Business Development standard operating procedures and overall organizational policies and procedures
Actively promote a culture that values a safe and healthy workplace
Take reasonable care of, and cooperate with actions taken to protect the health and safety of both themselves and others
Report all accidents, incidents and hazards to their supervisor
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Logistics or related area
Fluency in local language and good English skills both written and spoken
