Inside Sales Account Manager responsible for driving support contract renewals for Alletra Storage by seamlessly upgrading customers to the cloud-native power of HPE Alletra Storage. The Inside Sales Account Manager, manages virtually (by phone, electronically) a set of assigned or acquired accounts. Maintains and manages quarterly pipeline. Works closely with company outside sales, channel partners and/or end customers to move contract renewal opportunities to closure. Sets and executes renewal strategy for assigned portion of account, or territory.
Job Responsibility:
Renews support end user support contracts, and support services for set of assigned regional accounts, may partner with field sales or sell independently
Consistently reviews quarterly pipeline reports to drive renewal opportunities to closure
may work with partners/ outside sales to ensure a smooth customer transaction
Understands client requirements and drives upsell opportunities for service/support offerings
Builds targeted sales pipeline and forecasts data driven contract renewal to be within valid contract term
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent in any field (preferably IT/ Sales)
3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
Proficient account management, acquisition, retention and development skills
Proficient understanding of company's portfolios of products and services
Proficient knowledge of IT and/or industry solutions, products and services to solve business challenges
Proficient communication and negotiation skills
Proficient knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), preferably the Salesforce CRM product
Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Able to collaborate within a team and may lead a sub-team
