Job Description:

Inside Sales Account Manager responsible for driving support contract renewals for Alletra Storage by seamlessly upgrading customers to the cloud-native power of HPE Alletra Storage. The Inside Sales Account Manager, manages virtually (by phone, electronically) a set of assigned or acquired accounts. Maintains and manages quarterly pipeline. Works closely with company outside sales, channel partners and/or end customers to move contract renewal opportunities to closure. Sets and executes renewal strategy for assigned portion of account, or territory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Renews support end user support contracts, and support services for set of assigned regional accounts, may partner with field sales or sell independently
  • Consistently reviews quarterly pipeline reports to drive renewal opportunities to closure
  • may work with partners/ outside sales to ensure a smooth customer transaction
  • Understands client requirements and drives upsell opportunities for service/support offerings
  • Builds targeted sales pipeline and forecasts data driven contract renewal to be within valid contract term

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in any field (preferably IT/ Sales)
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
  • Proficient account management, acquisition, retention and development skills
  • Proficient understanding of company's portfolios of products and services
  • Proficient knowledge of IT and/or industry solutions, products and services to solve business challenges
  • Proficient communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficient knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), preferably the Salesforce CRM product
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Able to collaborate within a team and may lead a sub-team
