Job Description:

This role is part of a new Digital Sales Hub in Leixlip, connecting customers and partners with cutting-edge technology to solve their biggest challenges. You'll manage a portfolio of customer accounts virtually (by phone, online, and through innovative sales tools including social selling), build strong relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive meaningful business outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts, developing trusted relationships and delivering real business value
  • Create and execute account plans that align customer needs with HPE's technology solutions
  • Generate, qualify, and close new leads—either directly or alongside field sales and channel partners
  • Stay close to clients' priorities, understanding their challenges and positioning HPE as the trusted partner
  • Use insights and analytics to build sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and drive results
  • Collaborate across teams—marketing, technical, and partner organizations—to deliver exceptional customer experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)—ideally in business, technology, or a related field
  • Around 2–6 years' experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong interest in technology, innovation, and digital transformation
  • Solid understanding of how to build, retain, and grow customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Experience with CRM or Salesforce tools to track and manage customer interactions
  • Proactive, 'hunter' mentality balanced with the ability to nurture long-term relationships
