Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to take a leading role in our inpatient service at our new 24/7 hospital in Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment and recovery, while being part of a supportive and highly skilled hospital team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Take a leading role in the inpatient service
  • Spend two weeks out of three on inpatient shifts, taking the lead in caring for patients across both the first opinion and referral sides of the hospital
  • Ensure every patient receives the very best care
  • Spend one week out of three working on the GP side of the hospital, rotating through theatre and consults
  • Play a key role in supporting patients through their treatment and recovery

Requirements:

  • Experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • Keen interest in inpatient/ECC care
  • Great clinical standards
  • Confident managing Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs)
  • Confident managing indwelling catheters
  • Confident managing a wide variety of complex medical and surgical cases
