Job Description:

The Innovation Program Lead will lead the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of technologies and upgraded manufacturing systems across departments—including, upgraded technology systems, user training, AI upskilling, and system performance to support efficient production operations. You will also evaluate new innovations, oversee third-party solutions, coordinate upgrades, travel for research and training, and drive ongoing progress through resource management and weekly team leadership.

  • Successful track record of designing and implementing innovative solutions and/or AI in manufacturing
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing and bargaining unit setting
  • Design and implement technology strategies that align with business metrics
  • Innovate and recommend technology solutions that apply to the day-to-day functions of the business
  • Lead execution team for new technology and manufacturing innovations
  • Upscale team knowledge of AI tools
  • coordinate and provide training
  • Manage 3rd party solutions
  • Travel for researching new strategies to implement in the plant and training (approximately 20%)
  • Lead weekly team meetings for follow-up of new technologies and provide assistance
  • Create and manage library of resources and innovation tracker

Requirements:

  • College degree - preference for degrees in Engineering, Marketing or Business
  • Experience leading a team
