Job Description:

The Regional Innovation & Portfolio Assistant Manager supports the planning agenda of Foods Category in Arabia region together with Foods I&P manager.

Job Responsibility:

  • Innovation Planning
  • Short & Long terms Supply / Capacity Planning
  • Supply Network Design & Optimization
  • Savings and Cost Optimization
  • Management of Controlled Cost Agenda of the region
  • Innovation network development & execution
  • Define optimum sourcing network
  • Partner with marketing team and represent the SC in the regional innovation project meetings
  • Allocate innovation capability and capacity
  • Anticipate any network risks / delays in advance
  • Develop the plan for the 1st production
  • Develop transition plan (rundown)
  • Secure customer service at the targeted levels within the first 6 months after the innovation
  • Manage innovation business waste
  • Coordinate supply chain assessment of Raw/Pack materials
  • Coordinate indicative transfer prices for business cases
  • Understand category growth assumptions
  • Responsible for midterm to long term capacity planning process RCDSR for Finished Goods
  • Drive capacity increase plans
  • Drive simplifications on the supply network and on sourcing sites
  • Support Category procurement team on category savings plan
  • Agree capex requirements for savings projects
  • Analyze controlled costs (Logistics, Production) and create cost saving projects

Requirements:

  • University degree (preferably Engineering)
  • min 2-5 years of experience supply chain Planning, Production, Quality, R&D and/or Procurement
  • Fluent in English
  • Cross functional business process knowledge
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology
  • Analytical skills
  • Relationship building & influencing with external parties
  • Business awareness and growth mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office application
