Innovation Engineer

• Consistent contributions to the development of new technologies with the aim of multidisciplinary innovation within Vodafone Romania, identifying new business opportunities and accelerating digital transformation and adoption of innovation within the company.
• Processing and interpreting existing data to help technological decisions, automating and simplifying the way the technological infrastructure is operated.
• Implementing the necessary programs from the Innovation Strategy to create new capabilities and business models in the field of new technologies, drone division, integrated systems with Artificial Intelligence, technological prototypes and demonstrations, research and development programs and projects and innovation hubs in the academic area.
• Applying new entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial ways of working to address innovation, modernization and digitalization projects, based on increased collaboration, new approaches, maximizing the potential of technology, placing particular emphasis on achieving the final product for the benefit of the customer.
• Close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify, develop and implement new products, services and business models to drive the company's growth and profitability, contributing to the innovative brand reputation.

• 1 - 3 years of experience in delivering technical projects
• Strong technical skills in both Network and IT
• A good understanding of emerging technologies and market trends, with the ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
• Experience in delivering technical projects (preferred) or similar projects completed in academia
• Good understanding of network architecture (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and Artificial Intelligence-based technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Understanding of the Agile way of working and a collaborative, empathetic, constructive, modern mindset.
• Strategic thinking and interpersonal and transversal skills.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and an above-average customer-oriented attitude.
• High level of self-motivation and independence, as well as a high awareness of quality.
• Effective presentation skills to the executive level

Preferably proficient in the use of programming languages/platforms Python, MySQL, UiPath, Javascript, Jira, Confluence, C#, Power BI, Bash, Linux, Qlik Sense, Tableau, OpenAI
