This individual will support the execution of a comprehensive marketing program designed to elevate Citi Services market positioning as an innovator among financial institutions. The AVP will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business goals and content opportunities for high-impact marketing campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Citi Services innovation and partner marketing strategy across product lines, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives to achieve ambitious growth targets. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Technology and ESPA to execute on innovative, compliant, and client-focused marketing initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Foster a deep understanding of Citi’s innovation agenda to identify storytelling opportunities that align with strategic messaging and key business objectives
  • Work with internal subject matter experts and external agencies or internal creative teams to drive development of content, including webinars, thought leadership, videos and presentations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand cross-product and cross-function opportunities for collaboration
  • Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across marketing, product, partner and innovation teams
  • Prepare market leading initiatives for events support
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for success measurement, stakeholder reporting and key learnings for future executions
  • Ensure all partner and innovation marketing initiatives adhere to Citi’s risk management, legal, and compliance standards

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience within communications
  • Strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to interact with all levels of management
  • A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to perform their tasks
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization
