An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join ACTER as Innovation and Integration Manager. This pivotal role will drive strategic projects, innovation initiatives, and research integration activities that support ACTER’s vision and goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive strategic projects, innovation initiatives, and research integration activities
  • Work closely with the ACTER Director, transplant stream leads, the Transplant Manager, and Austin Health’s executive team
  • Deliver projects such as: Development and integration of machine perfusion programs
  • Planning for infrastructure and capital initiatives
  • Strengthening collaboration across transplant streams and multidisciplinary teams
  • Supporting ACTER’s research agenda and education events
  • Facilitating external engagement with government, industry, and funding bodies
  • Contributing to digital innovation projects and philanthropic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, change leadership, and innovation delivery (preferably in healthcare or research)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of contemporary health services and operational frameworks
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting research projects, grant applications, or digital innovation initiatives
  • Familiarity with transplantation
