Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Innovation and Analytics Auditor, AVP as part of our Chief Operating Office (COO) / Shared Services Operations (SSO) Audit Innovation & Analytics team. The COO/SSO Audit team provides coverage of shared services operations, payment operations, chief administrative office (third party, business resiliency, corporate properties, corporate security), enterprise complaints and remediation, fraud and claims management, control executive, regulatory & policy affairs, and strategic execution office. This role will also support AIA initiatives including governance, reporting, metrics and other lines of business as needed.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in projects, analyses, and application of data analysis in the assessment of risk and controls
Develop data-driven analytics capabilities to identify anomalies, outliers, emerging trends and operational risks
Build single use and continuous reporting and/or automation solutions in SQL, SAS, or Alteryx that support risk identification and evaluation
Design data visualizations using Tableau and other tools to support analytical and reporting needs
Navigate within large complex technology environments to locate, validate, extract, and format data for data analysis testing
Engage with peers and managers building relationships within Internal Audit and with teams companywide

Requirements:

2+ years of Audit, Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
2+ years hands-on experience with SQL, SAS and/or Alteryx including moderate complexity query development, data manipulation, performance optimization, and automation of solutions
Proficient in Tableau and Alteryx for data visualization and workflow automation
Experience documenting analytic solutions
Experience with Chief Operating Office/Shared Services Operations is preferred
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of systems of record and data warehouses
BS/BA degree or higher
Solid knowledge and understanding of audit or risk methodologies and supporting tools
Strong understanding of financial regulatory environment
Experience leading and providing feedback to staff on audit projects or engagements
Experience with Issue Validation and Remediation
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to obtain or currently hold one or more of the following certifications: SAS Certified Big Data Professional, SAS Certified Data Scientist, Certification of Professional Achievement in Data Sciences, Certified Analytics Professional, CFE, CIA, CISA, CPA, CAMS, or CRCM
