The hotel is completing a multi-million renovation of the Motel 6 Moab into a design-forward, luxury boutique hotel targeting outdoor and adventure seeking guests who prefer unique and authentic hospitality experience. Guestrooms are being completely renovated to a 4-star spec level. The lobby and pool area are being substantially upgraded and completely repositioned to include a full bar and café and activated indoor and outdoor common areas.
Job Responsibility:
Develop in depth understanding of the property management system and POS functionality
Provide gracious and sincere customer service to all arriving and departing hotel guests and visitors
Follow all specified hotel procedures to properly conduct Front of the House business
Answering telephones
Taking reservations
Reading and responding to hotel email
Checking guests in and out
Completing group pre-registrations and key packets
Posting charges and processing payments
Communicating with Housekeeping and Maintenance
Handling mail and coordinating deliveries
Anticipating guests’ needs
Communicate service and amenities of the hotel to guests
Provide Concierge service
Maintain fluent knowledge of local restaurants, special events, attractions
Be familiar with hotel rate structures and sales strategies
Resolve guest complaints
Complete shift checklists
Follow cash, credit and gift certificate procedures
Meet with departing Front Desk Host
Keep front desk and lobby areas clean
Be available to work irregular hours
Be familiar with hotel emergency procedures
Follow all company policies
Report suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas
Follow safety standards
Attend mandatory meetings
Perform other tasks
Conduct room inspections
Prepare hot and cold food items

Requirements:
