Job Responsibility:

  • Taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others by following all Health & Safety and food safety guidelines, ensuring your training is up to date
  • Supporting daily operations by managing stock, replenishing shelves, and ensuring smooth processes
  • Adapting to change with flexibility, taking on new skills, and handling a variety of store tasks, from operating tills and assisting customers to managing stock and supporting deliveries
  • Sharing ideas and feedback openly with your team and manager to foster an environment where everyone feels valued and heard, enabling both colleagues and customers to thrive
  • Supporting your colleagues by working collaboratively and flexibly as part of the wider multi-site team

Requirements:

  • 5 years continuous references – to gain an airport pass you will need to provide 5 years’ worth of either employment or education references without any gaps
  • Criminal Records Bureau Check – to be completed by WHSmith if your application is successful
  • Photographic ID i.e. passport or UK Driving Licence
  • A passion for customers having an exceptional experience in store
