Job Responsibility

  • Assist with the end-to-end lodgement of standard Workers Compensation claims with the insurer, ensuring all associated paperwork is accurate and complete
  • Assist with the tracking of return-to-work plans, draft correspondence to injured workers, and proactively follow up on critical outstanding medical certificates and documentation
  • Manage precise record-keeping, filing systems, and digital tracking registers for active claims to ensure complete compliance and audit readiness
  • Efficiently monitor the team’s shared inboxes, fielding general queries from staff and coordinating timely technical responses
  • Provide broader administrative support to the safety branch as required, including invoice processing, managing PPE orders, and tracking safety consumable stock

Requirements

  • Prior experience providing administrative assistance within a Workers Compensation, Claims, Injury Management, or OHS/WHS environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential case notes and documentation with high discretion
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven track record of managing shared inboxes and maintaining strict document tracking registers
  • Strong, empathetic communication skills with the ability to confidently liaise with injured workers, internal management, and external insurers
  • High proficiency across the MS Office Suite and a natural aptitude for database record-keeping
