Job Responsibility:
Ensure injection tool and process tuning from tool study validation until customer product quality approval
Act as main technical contact with toolmakers throughout the project lifecycle (post M4 milestone)
Participate in injection tool concept validation and injection system definition
Lead and organize Trial Preparation Meetings
Manage injection tool trials and tuning loops to achieve defined targets
Ensure cycle time and scrap performance are achieved vs PRU commitment
Define and follow up TCRD, FAC list and action plans
Update and manage department databases (raw material, shrinkage, trial evaluation, etc.)
Ensure injection process reliability during factory tool transfer
Coordinate with purchasing team to bring technical added value during tooling sourcing
Participate in customer initial sample validation (PPAP, PVS)
Lead wash-up meetings and consolidate trial results with core team
Ensure compliance with division quality systems and internal procedures (Optimap, etc.)
Capture lessons learned and share best practices within Injection & Tooling Expertise group
Participate in worldwide injection molding meetings when required
Requirements:
BS or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in injection molding process engineering within automotive or para-automotive industry
Strong hands-on experience in injection molding machine parameter setting and process optimization
Deep knowledge of thermoplastic resins: PP, PPGF (glass fiber reinforced polypropylene), ABS, ABS-PC
Strong understanding of rheology studies and material behavior during injection
Experience with multiple injection molding machine brands
Good knowledge of tooling validation, tuning loops and factory tool transfer
Advanced competencies in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and design software/viewers
Good level of English
Strong interface capability between tooling suppliers, factory teams, quality and project teams
Nice to have:
Automotive Tier 1 experience
Experience with glass fiber reinforced materials
Experience working with multiple molding machine brands
Experience with TCRD / FAC / structured action plans
Experience in scrap reduction and cycle time optimization
Participation in PPAP / PVS customer validation
Experience contributing to continuous improvement and lessons learned capitalization
