Job Description:

In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our menu and recipe development process, ensuring that every ingredient and recipe meets operational, client, and consumer needs. Working closely with culinary, marketing, nutrition, and innovation teams, you’ll manage sector-specific Approved Product Lists (APLs) and recipes using systems like Foodbuy, SAP, and Source. Your mission? To deliver continuous commercial improvement through smart ingredient management, recipe engineering, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll play a key role in supporting new business bids, menu launches, and accreditation programs while driving health, safety, and sustainability across our operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead recipe and ingredient management to ensure accuracy, compliance, and commercial benefit
  • Collaborate with culinary and marketing teams to create dynamic menus and food offers
  • Drive cost efficiencies through ingredient rationalisation and recipe optimisation
  • Support training and engagement for unit managers and chefs on food management programmes
  • Champion health, safety, and wellbeing in all aspects of food delivery

Requirements:

  • A passion for food and strong knowledge of commodity groups and ingredients
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to all levels
  • Financial acumen with experience in food costings and margin management
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while building strong stakeholder relationships
