Infusion RN

• Administer intravenous (IV) therapies and medications, ensuring safe and effective patient care delivery
• Assess needs, manage infusion devices, meticulously prepare and administer medications, educate patients, and monitor for complications
• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and managing appointments for outpatient infusions and procedures
• Perform infusion and procedures as ordered
• Coordinate with other clinical departments and ancillary services to ensure timely delivery of care
• May delegate performance of some procedures and infusions to other clinical areas during off-shifts, weekends and/or when work load demands
• Perform assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decision making to determine need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions
• Implement and/or modify plan of car using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
