Infusion Nurse

• Perform assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status
• also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy
• Formulate a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes
• Implement care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner
• Establish priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care given by health team members
• Document patient care and unit activities in a timely, accurate and concise manner
• Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers
• Identify patient/family learning needs and implement appropriate measures, including teach-back
• Demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to patient/family rights, age-specific needs, cultural and ethical beliefs
• Deliver care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner that preserves/protects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights

• Associate Of Nursing
• Two (2) years general RN experience
• Registered Nurse: AZ
• Basic Life Support - AHA BLS
• Cancer Chemotherapy Provider (CCHEMOP) within 12 months
• IV clinical skills
• Demonstrated competency in basic EKG skills by passing the EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules - within 6 months
