Job Description

The Technology Manager, On-Prem Infrastructure is responsible for the stability, security, and lifecycle management of enterprise on-premises infrastructure, including compute, virtualization, storage, and core data-center services. This role provides both strategic leadership and hands-on technical oversight, ensuring platforms are resilient, scalable, and aligned with business and clinical operations. The manager leads a team of infrastructure engineers, partners closely with architecture, networking, security, and application teams, and drives modernization initiatives while maintaining high availability in a 24x7 environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum Required Experience: 10 Years
  • Own on-prem infrastructure operations, including server platforms, virtualization (VMware / Nutanix), storage, and core data-center services
  • Ensure platform stability and availability, meeting defined SLAs, SLOs, and uptime requirements
  • Lead infrastructure lifecycle management, including refresh planning, capacity forecasting, and technical debt reduction
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
  • set standards, review designs, and raise overall engineering maturity
  • Drive modernization initiatives, including platform migrations, virtualization strategy changes, and hybrid integration
  • Partner with architecture, security, and networking teams to ensure compliant, secure, and well-designed solutions
