Our Infrastructure & Support Engineer – Restaurant Technology is part of a high-performing, collaborative Restaurant Infrastructure & Platforms Technology (RIPT) team that shares knowledge, supports each other and takes collective ownership of delivery. In this role, you’ll provide technical expertise and leadership in supporting existing restaurant technologies, while helping implement and support new hardware, software, and configurations across KFC restaurants.
Job Responsibility:
Establish and maintain RIPT workflows, processes, and procedures to ensure approved technology platforms are managed effectively
Provide day-to-day Level 3/4 support for approved technologies within your area of expertise, while continuously improving operational processes, contributing to documentation, and sharing knowledge with peers, Field Support Officers, helpdesk, and product teams
Act as a technical SME, contributing to the strategy, deployment, and ongoing support of existing and new restaurant technology platforms, including internet and telephony, cloud and compute resources. observability, SOE imaging and endpoint management, remote access, and backup and recovery
Ensure compliance with Yum policies and standards, proactively identifying and managing risks, issues and exceptions through a pragmatic, risk-based approach
Provide technical support through timely and high-quality issue resolution during and post-deployment, using standard KFC tools and processes
Contribute to and lead technical initiatives across hardware, software, configuration, testing and deployment
