Job Description

As our ICT Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our technical ICT infrastructure alongside our ICT provider. You will ensure the optimal functioning of our modern workplace with Office 365 and Intune, as well as our network LAN and WAN (Cisco Meraki). Following design rules, best practices, and standard procedures with a high focus on ICT security, you will provide hands-on support to our business and partners for their connection requests to or over the EPS-provided ICT infrastructure. Hands-on support to our users in our Head Office and to our users throughout Europe to make sure the ICT environment in our Depot location is also up to date.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and maintain technical ICT infrastructure alongside ICT provider
  • Ensure optimal functioning of modern workplace with Office 365 and Intune, and network LAN and WAN (Cisco Meraki)
  • Provide hands-on support to business and partners for connection requests
  • Provide hands-on support to users in Head Office and throughout Europe
  • Collaborate with ICT partners to maintain on-premises and cloud (Azure) infrastructures
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and servers
  • Assist with LAN and WAN changes
  • Plan maintenance activities, conduct health checks, and oversee contractor and vendor service quality
  • Analyse and troubleshoot incidents
  • Execute test plans for system upgrades or releases
  • Consult with clients to recommend technology, hardware, software, and installation plans
  • Participate in infrastructure projects
  • Work with outsourcing partners to define and execute projects
  • Support cross-functional teams in development and implementation of major installations, upgrades, and process changes
  • Report progress to project lead
  • Verify technical delivery of projects and accept infrastructure part of project deliverables

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience of working in ICT infrastructure engineering
  • Secondary Vocational education degree in Information or equivalent education
  • Medior skills on Microsoft: Windows 10/11, Office 365, Azure, Intune, teams
  • Networking: Wi-Fi-hotspots, LAN/WAN networking, network printing TCP/IP, firewalls, ICT Security
  • Project administration skills
  • Willing and able to travel to provide onsite support throughout Europe
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
