Job Description

Susquehanna has an opening for an Infrastructure Services Analyst to join our growing Infrastructure Platform services team. The Platform Services team is an integral part of the Compute and Storage Platforms organization at Susquehanna, responsible for the build, operation, and support of the server and storage platforms that form the foundation of our trading and corporate infrastructure. Joining Platform Services is the first step in building an engineering career with Susquehanna.

Job Responsibility

  • Partner with engineers to learn the fundamentals of their spaces and help them solve complex problems from supporting and building out new environments, evaluating and creating new applications, performance tuning, automation, and configuration management
  • Partner with technologists across Susquehanna's environment to troubleshoot application, network, hardware, and other issues
  • Automate tasks and monitoring applications or work on high performance clustered environments responsible for driving our quantitative trading

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a similar technical major
  • 1-3 years of experience working on platform environment (Linux or Windows servers)
  • Previous experience with monitoring/telemetry tools such as Grafana, Nagios, CheckMK or other tools such as Ansible, Elk, Prometheus, nginx
  • Experience in operating system management of Linux and/or Windows server
  • Familiar with basic network level TCP/IP, kernel-level, network cards functionalities

Exposure to scripting and automation workflow is helpful
