The position is for GFT Sector Platform support team, which provides infrastructure support functionality to all GFT businesses in a 24x7 follow-the-sun support model. The hardware platforms comprise a multitude of vendors including IBM, Dell and HP and operating systems including RedHat6/7/8 and AIX 7.x Seeking motivated technical professionals who specialize in providing services to clients on hardware and software components for Unix servers. Activities include operation and maintenance of Unix operating systems, clustering, High Availability, storage and backup solutions. These servers are installed with middleware applications, various database technologies and high availability solutions. The post holder will be primarily focused on performing analytical, investigative and operational functions on client systems for the Unix platform.
