Learn about competitive methods of joining pipe (welding, flanging)
Understand construction cycles
Find and follow major construction, expansion or retrofit projects
Keep current with market trends and competitor activity
Integrate into local trade organizations and professional associations
Develop a business plan with Regional Sales Manager
Execute all phases of project pursuit and project management to secure a purchase order
Gain complete information for all quotation requisitions
Lead inside sales team, engineering and other support staff
Build lasting relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, and building/project owners
Take customers out for dinners, sporting events, and other social events
Partner with Victaulic distributors and manage a balanced distribution network
Coordinate activities with other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists
Educate customers about the overall value of Victaulic products
Perform tool demos or conduct training on proper installation techniques
Conduct lunch and learn presentations for engineers
Influence decision-makers to maximize sales potential
