This role serves as both a servant leader to Agile teams and a project manager responsible for planning, execution, and delivery oversight. The position emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to timelines, governance standards, and organizational priorities.
Job Responsibility:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Coach teams on Agile principles to promote self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and refined backlog
Identify and remove impediments while managing cross-team dependencies
Track and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint health
Plan and manage projects including scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reporting for stakeholders and leadership
Support governance processes, including project intake, change control, and steering committee updates
Coordinate across cross-functional teams including technology, business, and vendors
Serve as a primary liaison between stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable plans
Support release planning and coordination across Agile and non-Agile teams
Promote consistent use of delivery practices, tools, and standards
Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, predictability, and quality
Contribute to evolving delivery methodologies and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of Scrum Master experience
5+ years of infrastructure project management experience
Proven experience working in hybrid Agile and traditional delivery models
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies
Demonstrated ability to manage scope, timelines, risks, and cross-functional dependencies
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as cloud platforms (Azure required), servers (Windows/Linux/VMware), networking (DNS, firewalls, DHCP), and backup tools
Understanding of ITIL practices including incident, change, and problem management
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef) and database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server
Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
