Job Description:

This role serves as both a servant leader to Agile teams and a project manager responsible for planning, execution, and delivery oversight. The position emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to timelines, governance standards, and organizational priorities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach teams on Agile principles to promote self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and refined backlog
  • Identify and remove impediments while managing cross-team dependencies
  • Track and report on Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and sprint health
  • Plan and manage projects including scope, schedule, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reporting for stakeholders and leadership
  • Support governance processes, including project intake, change control, and steering committee updates
  • Coordinate across cross-functional teams including technology, business, and vendors
  • Serve as a primary liaison between stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable plans
  • Support release planning and coordination across Agile and non-Agile teams
  • Promote consistent use of delivery practices, tools, and standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, predictability, and quality
  • Contribute to evolving delivery methodologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master experience
  • 5+ years of infrastructure project management experience
  • Proven experience working in hybrid Agile and traditional delivery models
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope, timelines, risks, and cross-functional dependencies
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in matrixed, cross-functional environments
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar
  • Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as cloud platforms (Azure required), servers (Windows/Linux/VMware), networking (DNS, firewalls, DHCP), and backup tools
  • Understanding of ITIL practices including incident, change, and problem management
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef) and database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship

Nice to have:

  • Agile and/or project management certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe, PMP, PMI-ACP) preferred
  • Experience in regulated environments such as financial services or insurance preferred
