Job Description

As part of the European Vodafone Network Operation (VNO) Organization and included into Cloud & OSS department, Infrastructure & OS team is responsible for the maintenance of Infrastructure, Operating System, Proxy and Backup in Network Operations environment for Albania.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and execute changes, providing assistance in new projects during all stages, including design, planning, delivery, assessment, operation and maintenance
  • Performing troubleshooting and error handling until issue definitive resolution within the agreed SLA
  • Avoid repetitive incidents, identify and solve the root causes
  • Guarantee the required security obligations across the entire perimeter of the platforms under its responsibility
  • Periodic monitoring of platforms, performance tuning, capacity planning and trend analysis

Requirements

  • University degree: faculty of Computers, or Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
  • Experience in Telecommunication or similar position
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Managing and supporting a mixed environment of Windows, RedHat, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, Oracle and the other Operating Systems most used
  • Knowledge of Proxy Operation and Maintenance
  • Problem solving skills and attitude to manage emergency situations to deliver results and improve performance in projects with high complexity
  • Good knowledge of the main monitoring systems and ability to automate repetitive tasks using appropriate languages and tools
  • Knowledge for Backup Platforms and processes
